VS BATTLES

Physiology
Elves are keenly attuned to the world and its meteorological cycles. As such, they are less affected by extremities of temperatures than are many other races. The blazing sun of the desert and the chill of the arctic cause elves discomfort, but not nearly as much as such extremes do others. Forged from the sun itself, Sunfire elves have a distinct connection to The Sun. They possess the ability to imbue weapons with solar energy. Some Of course being forged from the Sun, Sunfire elves have an inherent immunity to fire, while suffering no ill effects under -45°C and 60°C, and they are immune to sun sickness.
Elves have extremely keen eyes. Although they are not as sharp-eyed as most birds of prey, their eyes are still sharper than those of the average human. In addition, their eyes have the ability to see further into the infrared spectrum, allowing them to function in most unlighted places. As members of the eleven race, Sunfire elves have naturally keen senses and are capable of honing in on even the slightest disturbances. Specifically, the elven eyes are known to possess a feature known as Darkvision, or Infravision. which allows them to see out in darkness a maximum of sixty feet. Darkvision allows the user’s eye to absorb more light and treat darkness as dim light.Elves are immune to sleep; instead they are capable of entering a semi-conscious state known as the Trance which acts as a short rest and possibly also a form of mental training for their kind. As such, Tagiru is immune to any effects that would put him in a slumber-like state.Divine Alterations:
As one of the many disciples of Garyx, the Elf’s biology began to change due to the Divine Spark given to him by his god. The divine energy coursing through his veins transformed his existence into that of a Dragon, however without gaining dragon race. Due to his connection to his deity, this made Tagiru a quasi dragon.
+ | Eyes: Using the Dragon’s existence as a base framework, the Elf modified his existence to meet some similarities with that of these Legendary Beasts. Beginning with the eyes. Like a cat’s eye , a dragon’s eye has a comparatively large iris with a vertical pupil. This arrangement allows the pupil to open extremely wide and admit much more light than a human eye can. The sclera, or “white,” of a dragon’s eye is often yellow, gold, green, orange, red, or silver, with an iris of a darker, contrasting color. To a casual observer, a dragon’s pupils always look like vertical slits. If one were to look very closely into a dragon’s eye, however, one could see a second iris and pupil within the first. The dragon can shift and rotate this inner aperture up to 90 degrees, so that the inner pupil can overlay the outer one or lie at a right angle to it. This ocular structure gives a dragon extremely accurate depth perception and focusing ability no matter how much or how little light is available. Additionally, the inner lens functions as a magnifier comparable to a scope, which is capable of seeing up to 1000 yards.Aiding these eyes are three smooth inner eyelids, or nictitating membranes. The innermost membrane is crystal clear and serves to protect the eye from damage while the Elf flies, fights , swims, or burrows with his eyes open. The other two eyelids mainly serve to keep the inner membrane and the surface of the eye clean. They are thicker than the innermost membrane and less clear. A dragon can use these inner lids to protect its eyes from sudden flashes of bright light. A dragon’s eyes glow in the dark, but the dragon can hide the glow by closing one or more of its inner eyelids; doing this does not affect its vision.+ | Internal Organs: A dragon’s vast lungs fill much of its chest cavity. The lung structure resembles that of an avian, which can extract oxygen both on inhalation and exhalation. In addition to being the organs for respiration, a dragon’s breath weapon is generated in its lungs from secretions produced by the Draconis Fundamentum. The Draconis Fundamentum is a gland possessed only by true dragons.A dragon’s heart is the source of its dragon’s power. This huge, four-chambered organ pumps strongly enough to send blood flowing throughout the enormous beast. Legend has it that if a dragon’s heart could be filled with granite, the strength of the heart’s constriction would crush the stone to powder. The heart also generates the elemental energy that grants dragons their breath weapons and other powers. It is a dragon’s most magical aspect. Without the mystical energy distributed by their hearts, dragons might be merely intelligent lizards. This energy suffuses the entire body through the blood. For parts of the body that require more focused power, the fundamentum is a more direct conduit.A dragon’s blood is somewhat thinner than human blood and is darker, appearing black in dim lighting. The blood’s temperature depends on the variety of dragon. In Tagiru’s case his blood naturally gives off steam if not igniting into the air upon contact.Attached to the heart, it is the center of activity inside the dragon's body. All blood flowing from the heart passes through this organ before going to the body. The Draconis Fundamentum charges the lungs with power for a dragon’s breath weapon(Elemental Energy )and also plays a major role in the dragon’s highly efficient metabolism, which converts the vast majority of whatever the creature consumes into usable energy. Blood vessels, nerves, and ducts run directly from the Draconis Fundamentum to the Sunfire elf’s muscles, charging them with enormous energy. In many cases Dragons solely used elemental energy, but Tagiru also uses his Chi. His mastery of Chi allows the energy to flow throughout his body, allowing him to weaponize his energy for his Draconis Fundamentum. With his Chi energy flowing within his body, this allows him to be unaffected by poisons as the energy immediately filters out the toxins upon entry of his body. The Chi also helps in increasing his endurance as whenever fatigue toxins are produced from the muscles, the energy washes them away. Allowing him to fight upwards of a day before becoming tired.+ | Smell and Taste: These two senses are grouped here for a reason. The sense of smell and the sense of taste have combined to form one of the most powerful chemosensory devices in the animal kingdom.A dragon’s sense of smell is split between its nostrils and its tongue. The nasal aperture can detect odors from a great distance, but that aperture is less capable than the tongue of differentiating an odor’s components. When a dragon draws near the source of an interesting scent, its flickering tongue identifies and pinpoints various odors, much as a snake’s tongue does. Dragons just like snakes possess the vomeronasal organ or Jacobson's organ as it is more commonly called. This organ located at the roof of the snake's mouth, takes in information gathered by the tongue and transforms it into smell, thus making all snakes limbless bloodhounds with scales. The tongue is also a dragon’s organ of taste. Dragons can detect nuances of flavor better than humanoids can. For example, a dragon could describe every ingredient of a stew after ingesting a single large mouthful.+ | Jaws and Teeth: As with a crocodile, the muscles that close a dragon’s jaw are more powerful than the ones that open it—yet only the mightiest foe could hope to hold a dragon’s jaw shut if a dragon wants to open it. The teeth, also resembling those of a crocodile, include fangs for tearing and puncturing, incisors for severing flesh from bone, and a series of molars for gripping and grinding. The jaw can also unhinge, stretching a dragon’s maw to massive proportions similar to the way a snake’s jaws unhinge. Dragons rarely display this ability, because they use it only to bite larger foes or to swallow prey too tough to be torn into smaller bits. The throat can stretch wide enough to accommodate anything the unhinged jaws can encompass, though swallowing something so large that a dragon must unhinge its jaw is a painful experience.A dragon's teeth and fangs consist of a hard substance more closely related to the substance of a dragon’s bones(adamantine) than to the enamel and dentin that comprise the teeth of most creatures. Similarly, the interior of the tooth resembles marrow more than it does pulp.A dragon grows a new set of teeth each time it increases in size. Between these periods, if a dragon loses a tooth, it has to do without unless it has a means of healing magically.+ | Brain: A dragon’s brain is large both in absolute terms and as a proportion of body mass. A significant part of the brain is dedicated to memory and reasoning, and other parts control two functions unique to dragons: the mystical power of the eyes and the channeling of learned behaviors into the instinctive, “reptilian” brain.Directly above the sensory centers of the cerebral cortex, a dragon has an extra growth—a miniature lobe—that has a direct synaptic connection to the optic nerves. Sages believe that this growth generates a dragon’s frightful presence. Although not a true gaze attack, the effect emanates from the eyes, which might be why the legend arose that dragons have a hypnotic gaze. This miniature lobe draws mystical power from blood that flows through the brain. After a dragon expends that power, it must concentrate for a few moments to reinvigorate the lobe and thus ready the ability for another use.The second major factor that sets a dragon’s brain apart from those of other creatures is the connection of the learning and memory portions of the brain with the so-called reptilian brain, which is responsible for rage, the fight-or-flight mechanism, and other instinctive behaviors. Thick clusters of synapses form this connection, incorporating anything a dragon learns into its instinctive behavior. Learned techniques such as effective combat and hunting tactics become an innate part of the wyrm’s automatic responses. Knowledge even passes to offspring. Young dragons inherit all their parents’ instincts and reactive behavior, including those traits that the parents have developed from their own memories and experiences.+ | Hearing: Dragons are noted to take characteristics from reptilian, serpentine, and avian creatures. The latter of these species, avians(birds), are noted for possessing a powerful sense of hearing. Compared to the human ear, a bird’s ear are more funnel-shaped to focus sound much more effectively. The brain itself is also functioned to allow some birds to process sounds at 1/200 of a second. Allowing them to process underlying tones within sounds for threats of oncoming predators. With his elvish ears, he can pick up sounds much easier and determine the direction. But their maximum hearing speed is noted to be 10 times faster than a human.
